The new Melt HWJ and HMJ sensors
Gefran introduces the new Melt HWJ and HMJ sensors, pressure transmitters featuring the HART communication protocol, a digital technology based on the 4–20 mA standard widely used in the process plants.
The HWJ series ensures reliable measurements up to 315°C, while the HMJ series extends performance up to 400°C, maintaining operational continuity in the most demanding thermal processes. Both lines employ hydraulic pressure transmission and strain-gauge technology, delivering signal stability and high accuracy, and are certified SIL2 and PL d for Functional Safety applications.
These transmitters are designed according to the type of protection Flameproof Ex d, Intrinsically safe Ex i, Dust tight Ex t, according to the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, with the IECEx scheme and Nepsi Ex regulation. Multiple configuration options provide installation flexibility and dependable performance in modern polymer-production plants.
